Description

Antique pine chest of drawers with two short drawers over two long ones; trim round top, turned feet below. Original (or certainly contemporaneous) glass knobs on the drawers. The drawer fronts are the type which sit over the frame, rather than fitting inside; their edges are shaped and curved. Condition is pretty good: it's solid and all the drawers work well and have no loose joints. Cosmetically there are various scuffs and marks (see pics) and the top has been heavily sanded. It's been oiled or matte varnished which makes it bronze coloured rather than golden pine. The glass knobs have some old dust in the grooves. Dimensions: 102cm x 50cm x 78cm high
